Day 1 ARRIVE IN ROME
flight arrives in Rome, Italy – pick up luggage and clear customs
Depart for a panoramic orientation tour of Rome
A lunch stop will be provided
Check-in at the hotel
Welcome dinner at the restaurant

Day 2 The Cathedral of Rome: St. John Lateran
Breakfast
Join for the Mass celebrated at the Basilica of St. John Lateran
Walk to Scala Sancta afterwards to see Holy Stairs
Lunch on own
In the afternoon tour Ancient Rome with a guided tour of the inside of the Colosseum, the Trajan Column and the Roman Forum.

Day 3 ANCIENT ROME
Breakfast at the hotel
Today explore Rome: the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon
Free time and Lunch on own
Mass at Santa Maria del Popolo
Dinner

Day 4 VATICAN MUSEUM & SISTINE CHAPEL
Breakfast
Attend the Papal audience in St Peter square.
Lunch on own near St. Peter’s Basilica,
Visit the Vatican Museum and Sixtine Chapel
At the end of the visit enter the Basilica walking through the Holy Door, which has been opened for the Jubilee Year..
Dinner

Day 5 ASSISI
Breakfast . Depart for Assisi for a full day tour
Visit St. Clare Church to see the tomb of St. Clare & the San Damiano Cross.
Tour the upper and lower Basilica of St. Francis to see the tomb of St. Francis and the famous Giotto paintings
Free time to explore Assisi; lunch on your own
Mass at St. Francis Basilica
Return to Rome . Dinner at the hotel

day 6 CHRISTIAN ROME

Tour St. Mary Major and St. Paul Outside the Walls
Lunch on own
Visit the Catacumbs
Farewell dinner : PIZZA SCHOOL
